Who we are
Dymini (dymini.com) is a learning platform for tests, flashcards and classes. Contact: support@dymini.com.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, display name, role (student or teacher) and, for age checks, only your birth year and month.
- Sign-in data: a securely stored password, or your Google account identifier if you choose Google sign-in.
- Content you create: tests, flashcard decks, collections and class information.
- Learning activity: your attempts, scores, mistakes, flashcard reviews, streaks and class membership.
- Messages: what you send in class and group channels, shown to the members of that channel.
- Voice in study rooms: your voice is sent live to the other people in the room while your microphone is on. We do not record it.
- Photos and files: the profile picture and files you choose to upload.
- Technical data: IP address, browser or device type and error reports, used to keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
How we use it
We do not sell personal data and we do not show advertising.
- To run Dymini: sign you in, save your progress and show your results.
- To keep it safe: rate limiting, bot protection and handling reports of spam or harmful content.
- To improve it: diagnosing errors and understanding what works.
Service providers
We use Cloudflare to host the site and to protect sign-up and sign-in with Turnstile, Sentry to monitor errors, LiveKit to carry live audio in study rooms, and Google if you choose Google sign-in. These providers process data on our behalf to deliver those services.
Device permissions in the app
You can turn any of these off in your device settings. The rest of Dymini keeps working without them.
- Microphone: only when you turn your microphone on in a study room.
- Photos: only the pictures you pick, for example your profile picture.
- Camera: only when you choose to take a photo or share video.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and similar storage that are needed to keep you signed in, protect the service and remember your language choice. We do not use advertising cookies.
Students under 16
Children under 13 cannot create their own account; a parent or teacher has to set it up. Users aged 13 to 15 must provide a parent or guardian’s email, and the account stays pending until the guardian gives consent. Profiles of minors are not public. Teachers decide who can see the tests they make for a class.
Public content
Tests and decks you set to Public can be seen, practiced and, where you allow it, copied by anyone, and may appear in search engines. Keep personal information out of public content.
Your choices
You can change a test’s visibility at any time. In your account settings, on the app or the website, you can download your data and delete your account. To ask a question about this policy or for help with your data, email support@dymini.com.
Deleting your account
When you delete your account you are signed out everywhere and it is scheduled for deletion. You have 30 days to change your mind by signing in and cancelling. After that your account and personal data are permanently deleted.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and show the date at the top.
